Blind Industries and Services of Maryland (BISM) is proud to once again partner with Checkerspot Brewing for our annual BISM on Tap event — and this year, we’re celebrating something special.
2026 marks the 40th anniversary of our Independence Training and Rehabilitation (ITR) programs, and we’re kicking off the celebration in style! In honor of this milestone, we’re launching a brand-new beer:
🍺 Blind Spot – Low Vision, a limited-edition Hazy IPA brewed in collaboration with Checkerspot Brewing.
Join us for an afternoon of music, games, raffle prizes, and community connection — all in support of a great cause.
Ticket Pricing
Tickets must be purchased in advance – no day-of sales!
- General Admission (Free): Access to live music and event festivities.
- Pint Package ($25): General admission plus a BISM commemorative beer glass and a pint of beer on us.
- VIP Package ($50): General admission plus a BISM commemorative beer glass, unlimited beers, 5 raffle tickets, and a backstage tour of the Brewery.
Where Your Support Goes
All proceeds from BISM on Tap will go directly toward renovating the kitchens in our ITR division, ensuring we continue to offer safe, accessible, and modern training spaces for blind and low-vision students.
